Hi, I'm Sam
I was a Technical Director at a church for over 2 years. During that time I edited hundreds of sermons. I never had the budget to spend on Izotope RX or other software. To save money I always used the plugins I had, but as an audio engineer I was never satisfied with the results.
As I grew as a software engineer I realized I could build a better solution.
So I Built Podly
In my own process of editing sermons I realized it could be easier, faster, and better especially pertaining to the noise reduction. There are some situations where you just need trimming, noise reduction and audio enhancement to make the audio comfortable to listen to. Although I love working in my DAW with complex tools, I designed Podly with a simple easy to use interface to help you get the job done quickly and easily.

Our AI-powered audio enhancement uses DeepFilterNet2 to automatically clean up background noise on dialogue, and enhance speech clarity. We also are developing a new AI model to enhance the audio of the broadcast including music and other audio.
